Face to face, telehealth and on-line appointments available. Evening appointments available on request.

Supporting mental health, I am very in tune to the many issues we face and deal with through life.
From navigating family dynamics, relationships, ageing parents, illness and loss, to dealing with difficulties at work or home, we sometimes become unstuck with a sense of being overwhelmed, leading to feelings of anxiety or low mood.

Seeing and connecting with a counsellor is an opportunity to work through these issues without often having that feeling of burdening friends or family.

I draw on a variety of counselling approaches, tailoring our sessions to meet your needs. This may involve goal setting, learning strategies to cope with anxiety and exploring emotional pain.

Sometimes I introduce easy-to-understand psycho-education, gaining an insight into why our minds and bodies behave in certain ways during difficult periods in life can provide a strong foundation on which to build change.

There are many reasons couples come to counselling; from wanting to start the relationship off on solid footing to needing support to repair what can often seem like irreparable damage in the relationship.
You may be feeling stuck, lonely, disillusioned, angry, frustrated, lost or just numb.

Often you can be
• Constantly evaluating whether to leave or stay
• Struggling with conflict that never seems to resolve
• Feeling disconnected, like you never seem to talk anymore
Drawing on modern theory and techniques, during our sessions together we explore the often dysfunctional patterns of behaviour that can occur when relationships are under strain.
We take a close look at our own ways of 'regulating' our moods and the impact that can have on our relationship.

We explore the way we function and how this impacts our relationship on a deeper level.
Having a clearer picture of your relationship from a wider perspective is an essential part to being able to work towards change
